It's always nice when an expert is just a phone call away. There are, however, some quick and easy solutions you can try on your own. Below is a list of common issues, causes and remedies for HVAC systems. For anything that falls outside this list, see our Frequently Asked Questions section or contact Tec Air today!

No Cooling:
- You may have a tripped circuit breaker in your home.
Check your home circuit breaker box and reset the circuit breaker if necessary.

- Your thermostat may be off or set incorrectly.
Check to make sure your thermostat is on and set to cool. Reset thermostat to your desired temperature if necessary.

- Your indoor unit is running, but the outdoor unit is not.
Air coming through your vent will be warm if this is the case. Check your temperature setting. Contact Tec Air for further assistance. In the meantime, try turning off your thermostat for 1–3 hours to see if it will reset.

No Heating:
- Your gas could be turned off.
Check gas valve at gas company meter, check shutoff valve at furnace, check for other shutoff valves. Contact gas company to have gas valve turned on or contact Tec Air.

- Your thermostat may be off or set incorrectly.
Check to make sure your thermostat is on and set to heat. Reset thermostat to your desired temperature. You may have a tripped circuit breaker in your home. Check your home circuit breaker box Reset circuit breaker box.
